Dear Guardians and Parents,

It
is with sadness and a heavy heart that I bring
news to you about the passing of Dad Michael
Glushakow. Dad Mike is the father of our
recorder, Heather. Hehas also served our bethel as
Director of Fraternal Relations.

Last evening while at home, Dad Glushakow began to feel
ill. He was rushed to Howard County General Hospital.
Dad Mike crashed and was revitalized and then crashed
several more times. By around 8:30 he was unable to
struggle any more. Mom Julie and Heather were with
him. It is believed that Dad Mike died as a result of
renal failure.

I
hope that you will each keep Dad Mike, Mom Julie and
Heather in your prayers this day. Heather and Julie
both have a rough period ahead of them.

If
you would like to send your thoughts and prayers in
card, please do so to: 2910 Montclaire Drive, Ellicott
City, MD 21043

The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please send
donations in memory of Michael Glushakow to The
Shriners Hospital for Children, c/o The Boumi Shrine
Center.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, and a period of
Sheeva will begin following the funeral. Families and
friends are welcome to call on Julie and Heather at
their home during this time.

I
will forward information about the funeral services and
Sheeva periods as I receive them. As well as an address
for the Boumi Shrine Center.

Parents, please know that I have sent a letter to the
daughters about this great loss. Please take a moment
to make sure that they have received this information
and discuss it with them - many of them have not
experienced much loss in their lives or loss of someone
they are very familiar with. Dad Mike thought very
highly of each of our members, he was always ready with
a smile, a bear hug or an encouraging wordfor each of
our daughters. He was always positive and gave of his
time and talents willingly.

I
also encourage each of you to take a moment this evening
to remind your daughters of just how very much you love
them and how thankful you are that they are your
daughters. This should be a reminder to us of how
fragile and quick life is.

Should you have an questions, feel free to contact me.

I
wish you all a blessed day.

Mom Kathy Harden
